2022 Book Review Series

Please join us this January, 2022, at the 44th Annual Book Review series. Reviews are held on Tuesday with bagged or boxed lunches, $5, beginning at 12 PM, followed by the Book Review at approximately 12:30 PM. Mark your calendars for the following dates:

January 4  - Being Dead is No Excuse: The Official Southern Ladies Guide to Hosting the Perfect Funeral, by Gayden Metcalfe - reviewed by our own Jan Struck.

January 11 - A Long Way from Home: Growing Up in the Heartland in the Forties and Fifties, by Tom Brokaw - reviewed by Claire Swift, former producer for Tom Brokaw and NBC

January 18 - The Despicable Missionary, by Julie Doss - reviewed by Rev. Dr. Bob Scudieri, former Head of Missions in North America for the LCMS, with short video interviews with missionaries

January 25 - The Four Winds, (an epic about love & heroism & hope, set during the Great Depression and the Dust Bowl) by Kristin Hannah - reviewed by retired Grace Lutheran School Science teacher, Laurie Tremblay
